3. Problem Explanation
• In today's world, we frequently see that so many people are suffering from cyber-attacks.
• When cyber attack occurs, your device may get infected by malware (including ransomware).
• cybercrime can result in not only financial problems but also mental stress.
• The same impact can be that the victim might have a problem trusting someone online again. Also,
emotional stress can result from stolen data and worry about how the attacker might use the data.
• To avoid such situations, I am planning to design a system so that it won't asks for a strong
password but asks for a short and effective patterns with a simple techniques.
• It is an effective way for more security and time saving. It is also helpful to an illeterate people too.
• It is quite easy to remember also.
4. Solution
• One of the solutions to the given problem is to change the security
system from password to patters with a unlocked features.
• According to me, pattern system is very helpful and it can be updated
to an extinct so that a user can select the dimensions of the pattern
too.
• The features of the pattern lock has to upgrade instead of using a
continuous pattern we have to use discontinuous patterns.
• We should also provide a great feature that the user can access
a single dot twice or thrice.
• If the user put the short pattern then the security software has detect the dots which are'nt used.
• If the user put the strong & lengthy pattern then the security software has to detect the dots which are
used.
5. Feasibility of Solution
• The user can also change the shape of the dots (dots, dics and rhombus) that are
used in the patterns for more security purpose.
• The patterns drawn by the user should be invisible so that the other person can't
see the pattern.
• These patterns can be drawn differently and also can be remembered easily.
• These patterns can easily remembered by the illiterate people and children too.
• These patterns reduces the time and can be more secure to use.
• The patterns are easy to use also.
6. Comparing with Existing Solutions
• These patterns are more secure to use so that the hacker can't access the
pattern because of there are different type of patterns to draw.
• These patterns are easy to remember then the strong password.
• These patterns exists in various forms and also unique because we are
using different dimensions and also different types of dots so each type of
dot has its unique specification.
• For a strong password we have to use so many characters but in
this system we are using just simple shapes & different dimensions
which can be remembered easily.
• In this system the user can access a single dot multiple times so it is also works like a numbered
keypad.
7. Applications
• This type of pattern can be used in so many sectors and it is
better to use it as a login pattern password to so many sites.
• These types of pattern passwords can also be used to open
the locker door.
• These type of patterns Locks has to implement in the defence
securities systems.
• It will be difficult for hackers to hack the password.
• These pattern locks are more convenient to use than the
password.
