Reasons for unprotected sex among men who have sex with men: An event-level a...
This study analyzed reasons for unprotected sex among men who have sex with men using an event-level analysis of data from 1046 men in the San Francisco Bay Area. The study found higher rates of unprotected insertive and receptive anal intercourse among HIV-negative men with HIV-positive partners. Negative moods and drug use during sex were more common in these serodiscordant partnerships. The study concludes event-level factors like mood, substance use, and beliefs about viral load need to be addressed in HIV prevention interventions.

HIV in Persons with Severe Mental Illness 11.4.09
This randomized controlled trial examined the effectiveness of a case manager delivered HIV prevention intervention called Preventing AIDS Through Health (PATH) for people with severe mental illness (SMI) and substance abuse issues. 281 participants were assigned to receive either the PATH intervention or treatment as usual. The PATH intervention improved condom use and skills and reduced drug use compared to the control group. While the rapport between case managers and clients did not mediate these effects, case managers were able to effectively deliver the HIV prevention intervention. The results suggest comprehensive treatment for SMI should include discussions of sexuality and safer sexual practices.
Drug abuse among african american adolescents

This randomized controlled trial examined the effectiveness of a case manager delivered HIV prevention intervention called Preventing AIDS Through Health (PATH) for people with severe mental illness (SMI) and substance abuse issues. 281 participants were assigned to receive either the PATH intervention or treatment as usual. The PATH intervention improved condom use and skills and reduced drug use compared to the control group. While the rapport between case managers and clients did not mediate these effects, case managers were able to effectively deliver the HIV prevention intervention. The results suggest comprehensive treatment for SMI should include discussions of sexuality and safer sexual practices.

Introduction
Drug addiction treatment can be done through drug replacement therapy, or through non-drug therapy. Drug replacement therapy has provided drug addicts with legal access to drugs, which they would otherwise only have accessed illegally. These drugs assist in providing medicated control towards achieving freedom from addiction.
Drug replacement has been used for a long time and has proved effective in several areas. The use of a non-drug placement program has also been effective. Drug addiction treatment programs that do not rely on drug replacement include counselling, group therapy, individual therapy, residential and out-patient therapy. All these programs target the specific needs of every individual.
Hypothesis
This research will seek to test the hypothesis that drug addiction treatment is relatively more effective when it is carried out using medication as opposed to non-medicated treatment. Neural networks, genetic algorithm selection and bootstrap simulation revealed relationships between 5YS and N0-12 (rank=1), thrombocytes/CC (rank=2), segmented neutrophils/CC (3), eosinophils/CC (4), erythrocytes/CC (5), healthy cells/CC (6), lymphocytes/CC (7), stick neutrophils/CC (8), leucocytes/CC (9), monocytes/CC (10). Correct prediction of 5YS was 100% by neural networks computing (error=0.000; area under ROC curve=1.0).
