Adaptation on SMARTboard
Olivia Childs
World History
This SMARTboard activity involves
the students matching terms and
places with the correct answer.
Through this they are able to
memorize information in a
interactive way.
The activity also engages students
from all types of educational styles
because it combines text, images,
and I would add some
video/commercial to connect to
audio/visual learners.

Target
Learners:
For this activity I would target
high school AP learners who
are trying to memorize a lot
of information.
This activity would help with
memorization, but in a new
way so that they are more
engaged.
Adaptations:
For this SMARTboard activity I
would obviously add MANY more
slides and would break it down
into specific time frames for
students to be able to reference
when they are studying for the
final AP test at the end of the
school year.
This activity would allow
students to have a quick
review of terms, people,
places, and events that
are necessary for the
exam.
