Removing existing steps and laying an ADA compliant ramp system, complete with handrails that are ADA compliant.
Tear out cabinets and countertops, move plumbing, if needed, and outlets. Replace walls and floors, put in ADA compliant cabinets with easier reach from a wheelchair, countertops.
The doors are to be made with a space of 34in. A sliding door would be better recommended so the area of activity in the bathroom would not invade any space. The shower is recommended to have a folding seat to leave the most space possible and to have multiple grab bars within the shower and around the toilet. The floor is recommended to have slip resistant title to prevent any injury.
Any changes occurring will be making the door with a 34in opening in order to be wheelchair and lift hoist accessible to move a handicapped individual from one room to another. Along with relocating the closet so the bathroom can be widened.
