Hey hope you’re doing well! Just a long day here in Vermont. We just got done looking into a new lot that we’re seeing how we can put in a mobile home. So this lot is a perfect example of what your typical mobile home should be like. Before you can go onto change the country you need to know the basics. Electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and HVAC. Before you begin designing a house you need to ask yourself the general basics of the blue prints, is the house going to be small? How many feet wide or long? Do you plan on one story or two story? Do you have a licensed team? How many bedrooms and bathrooms are there? What is your budget per house? Draw out the plan and follow through. Be sure to have a budget and make sure that you have a reliable team that can finish on time. If you want to send out the housing manufacturing job to another company be sure then to add in transportation cost.

Hey hope you’re doing well! Just a long day here in Vermont. We just got done
looing into a new lot that we’re seeing how we can put in a mobile home. So this
lot is a perfect example of what your typical mobile home should be like. Before
you can go onto change the country you need to know the basics. Electrical,
plumbing, carpentry, and HVAC. Before you begin designing a house you need to
ask yourself the general basics of the blue prints, is the house going to be small?
How many feet wide or long? Do you plan on one story or two story? Do you have
a licensed team? How many bedrooms and bathrooms are there? What is your
budget per house? Draw out the plan and follow through. Be sure to have a
budget and make sure that you have a reliable team that can finish on time. If you
want to send out the housing manufacturing job to another company be sure then
to add in transportation cost.
Making sure there is power connected for your mobile home is very important
and one of the ways to check is making sure there is an electrical meter next to
the lot. This shows that you can connect the wiring with the house and you can
have what you need. So what to understand is that usually there are already lines
connected to the house from the power company that is local. Or perhaps there is
a solar farm that is around the corner. It all depends. Here in Vermont there are
tons of solar modules everywhere throughout the state and they are used by
certain businesses to be able to create an extra income. We will get into it a little
more in a different article as electrical in itself is a specialty usually done by an
electrician and power that is installed in the area by a lineman. We will discuss
also branch circuits and switchboards in the article for electrical work.please be
sure to work with a licensed electrical contractor.
Plumbing is the next one that is interesting. Gotta have a toilet, shower, sinks and
more. Usually for a prefabricated house or mobile home you would have a sceptic
tank that is connected to the house under the house itself. Before you get into
plumbing away and installing you need to see just how many bathrooms you plan
on putting in and from there having blue prints designed out in order to create.
Be sure to check with a plumbing contractor to make sure everything is ok and
2. that there is a water line. Please be sure to work with a Licensed Plumbing
contractor.
Natural Gas and resources are definitely a factor when looking into it. Gas is
important for heating and cooking. So be sure to remember gas as well. Natural
gas lines are also important in these things and also needs to be accounted for in
the kitchens as well. However, there are new houses that are not using gas as
much as they used to and are more electricity focused. Larger houses still use gas
so remember that while you’re working on your project. Make sure you use a
licensed contractor.
HVAC is an important piece to the puzzle, especially in Vermont where you need
heat and air conditioning in both the summers and the winters. Having a central
air conditioning/heating system that can be through out the entire house can be
expensive and based on your budget. Having a small air-conditioner centered in
the house is also an idea but being sure heat is supplied is most important,
especially in the snow. Please make sure to work with a licensed HVAC
contractor.
Carpentry is very important especially in building the frame of the house and
being sure that the beams of the house are stable. When you draw out the
architecture of the home it is very important to see to it everything works out. Be
sure that the frames are measured accurately and your contractor knows what he
is doing. Of course most contractors do have an idea on how to build the cabinets
and walls of the house. This job is more important of finding a good architect who
can accurately measure the design and make sure everything is plumb. Make sure
you use a licensed architect and licensed general contractor.
In conclusion, this is a general article outlining the fundamental factors to take
into account while building out a home in the area. What you need to do for land
analysis as well is analyze a Lot in the area that makes sense to build upon. Take
your land and see how many lots you can fit into the land and then be able to
work it out where you would then have power and water lines running through.
Gas, water and power lines need to be in place. If not then you would have to pay
for them to come to your land which would become a part of your budget and
would have you one step behind. We will discuss each trade at length in different
3. articles that are better suited for them. Please see pictures to understand lots on
land.
