The ISGF Africa Region held several activities and gatherings between February 2015 and March 2016, including a visit to Ghana to consult with former scouts, a meeting with scouts in Ghana, sub-regional gatherings in Southern Africa, Eastern Africa, and another Eastern Africa gathering. Membership drive consultations also took place in Burundi, Rwanda, Tanzania, Botswana, Zimbabwe, and Kenya. The regional chairmen attended the World Committee meeting in Portugal from March 17-25, 2016 and an African conference was held in Burkina Faso.
