2. SHEILA GRAY'S BIOGRAPHY

3. • Since 1990 Sheila Gray has run an independent
acting studio based in Manhattan, where she
teaches weekly group classes and intensive
workshops. Outside of New York she has worked
in Los Angeles, London, Madrid, Mexico and
South America as well.

4. PRIvAtE COACHInG
• My private coaching sessions address the actor's
specific needs in an intimate, supportive and
intensive setting.
• I work with each person differently according to his
or her abilities and goals. Some of my clients have
even been known to call it jokingly "couture
coaching".
• I am a Method-based teacher but am happy to
work with people from all different orientations and
work in the way they feel is most comfortable and
beneficial, using "the method" to strengthen and
add to their technique

5. PERfORmAnCE EnHAnCEmEnt
• Through the years I have worked with many non-
actors to strengthen their communication,
performance and presentation skills.
• I am able to teach people tools that help them
relax, find their center, discover and define what it is
they want to say, gauge their audience and learn
how to communicate and connect with them.
• We define their goals and decide how to best reach
them within the performance or presentation and
then rehearse doing so through relaxation, script,
improvisation, repetition and feedback.

6. CLASS SCHEDULE
• Classes are on-going throughout the year with
a break for major holidays and there
are NO classes in August.

• Wednesdays: 5pm-7.30pm
$180 per month
Single class $80
NO AUDITS

8. ADvAnCED SCEnE AnD
mOnOLOGUE
• A two month commitment is required for this
class with payment due at the start of the
class for both months.
• All students must also have a foundation in
Sensory work to be in this class. If you do
not, please attend the Sensory class prior to
the Scene class

PERFORMING ARTS HIGH SCHOOLS
