What can we do to make us more efficient, better
and nationally and internationally competitive?
What can we do to meet the charge we have?

5. REVIEW OF HIGH POINTS
FROM DR. GORDON GEE’S
ADDRESS
Dr. William Jenkins, Interim President, LSU System
Dr. Christel Slaughter, SSA Consultants
6. High Points – Dr. Gordon Gee’s Address
On LSU’s Reorganization Efforts – There are certain things
that are better done at different levels, but there is a need
for consistency and structure that allows for effectiveness
and efficiency. Move from complacency to urgency.
Colleges are in the business of ideas. Be curious about how
you structure and reform yourselves.
On Cross Campus Integration – The Ohio State University
is one university, with one degree with six campuses.
Each campus contributes to the whole and they are all front
doors to the main institution.
Faculty, regardless of our campuses, are faculty at The Ohio
State University.
Smaller campuses are a way for us to comfortably serve all
students of the state.
