This document summarizes a student's 1st trimester exhibition where they presented on various topics including a book reading on courageous dogs, a math tally chart, Native American tobacco use in social studies, the causes of seasons in science, and an interest project on South Carolina. 3. You should read this book , because it tells you that dogs can even do your job . Not just humans can fight , and risk there lives .Dogs can to. This book is also emotional has different feelings in this book. That is why you should read this book! Courageous Dogs: Joanne Mattern Non-Fiction READING This book was about dogs and how they save people’s lives. It was also about dogs, who were in the Military, Army, and Navy. Dogs we’re trained to do just what humans do , which is fight. The dogs did a very good job at that. Especially the dogs ,because they can sniff very well , and smell when danger is coming . The dogs we’re a big help for the humans . The humans had to do less, and less more work . The more the grown – ups donated their dogs to the Navy , Military, and the Army, the less jobs they had to do. I liked this book , because it tells you how many dogs saved peoples lives. Just like Carlos. He found bombs and explosives at different places. Such as neighborhoods where children played . Thanks to Carlos for saving children’s lives ! Some people would’ve been dead. My favorite character in this book was a dog named Andy. He was my favorite character , because, she is really serious about her work . She could also smell a lot of dangerous things. Like drugs. Andy was a very good dog. She got an award for doing such a good job. Everyone adored her . Especially me . That was my favorite character in the book.

8. The product that the Native Americans used that I want to talk about is TOBACCO. The Native Americans used Tobacco, because they thought it was good for there health . They also used it because the Indians thought it was medicine , and it was hard to find. That is one product that the Indians used. Did you know that?

10. We have seasons on Earth because the Earth revolves around the sun and when the Earth is summer when you go to the opposite side of it its winter. Now its Autumn when you go the opposite direction then it’s spring.

15. *The capital city is Columbia. *Two other large cities in South *Carolina is Spartanburg , and Charleston. *South Carolina is in the Southern part of the country. *SC state flower is Jessasmine. *It costs $405.00 to get on a plane from Detroit to SC. *From Detroit to SC it takes 1,473 miles to get there. *Some of the physical features in SC is lake Jocasee , Laurel bay , mountain Rest , lake Greenwood , and the Atlantic Ocean. *South Carolina became a state in 1788. 3 fun places to go that I will like to go! What makes South Carolina a magnificent place?

17. NascarSpeedPark I will like to go there because I can race everybody. I can also win each game. I would be so fast and furious. I also never been there before. That is why I would like to go there!

18. Free Style Music Park I would like to go there because it is a water park and a amusement park . I can do both things at the same time. When I’m hot I can to the water section and when I’m cold I can go to the amusement park section . I would also like to go there , because people are singing and dancing there. My family and I can enjoy the music. This is why I would like to go there!

19. Ripley’s Aquarium I would like to go to Ripley’s Aquarium, because I can see all the cute animals. I can also learn something new. I could learn something new, because I’ve never been there before. For example, I would be able to know which sea animal belongs to what family and what they eat to survive.!
