• With over 20 years of experience in the financial services sector, Curt Sigfstead works at a
global financial institution and oversees technology investment banking Clients. A graduate
of the Shawnigan Lake School, Curt Sigfstead is a member of the school’s board of trustees.
Shawnigan Lake School is a Canadian boarding and co-educational college preparatory
institution in British Columbia. It is committed to helping young people lead successful lives.
In addition to offering academic courses, Shawnigan Lake School provides a wide range of
student initiatives, including the Global Exchange Program.
The program offers students an opportunity to learn and experience different cultures
outside the comforts of their own home for one to eight weeks. Shawnigan Lake School has
partnered with schools in France, Japan, Chile, Australia, and New Zealand to accommodate
individual or group exchange students. During the exchange program, Shawnigan Lake
