Hi! I’m Adam Michael Smith. In a nutshell, I am a lawyer, Cal Berkeley
supporter, traveler, hiker, newbie photographer, and fan of police TV
shows. These days I am based in New York, but I was born and raised in
California. After a long day at work, I unwind by watching police
dramas and comedies like the classic show The Grand Jury and newer
shows like Brooklyn Nine-nine, Law and Order, The District, and The
Fall. My line of work requires me to stay long hours in the court and
coordinate with the police, and fellow lawyers. Despite this setup, I still
enjoy watching a good case unfold onscreen.
Work can become hectic, and after working for months straight, I
usually take a break and head to Martha’s Vineyard to get some sun
and enjoy the cool breeze. Sometimes I visit California and rediscover
the hiking trails I’ve always loved since my childhood. These days, I
bring my camera with me. Even if I’m not yet an expert in
photography, I’m taking it up as a hobby. While I’m still engrossed with
nature photography, I plan on trying out urban photography soon. I
hope to make time for it even with my busy schedule.
