3. Adventure Guide Welfare Society (AGWS) was established in 2005. This society is registered under society Act XXI of 1860. We are one of the registered member of INDIAN MOUNTAINEERING FOUNDATION (IMF), New Delhi. We are based at Devindar Puri, Bari Mukhani, Haldwani, Nainital, (UTTARAKHAND). We are an authorized society by the Government of Uttarakhand to run certified courses in Search and Rescue Operation, Disaster Management, Survival Management, Paragliding, Skiing, Rock Climbing, Rafting, Scuba Diving. We are also known as one of Most Experienced Trekking & Mountaineering Team of Uttarakhand. AGWS is one of the pioneer society who has taken the initiative to promote Disaster Management across India. 7. DISASTER MANAGEMENT Duration: 5Days Time: 5 Hrs a Day Mode of Teaching: English or Hindi Process: Theory, Practical Demonstration, Individual Practical, Examination and Certification. Course Coverage: Introduction of Different Equipments and their usage, Search & Rescue ( Self & Partner), FIRST AID, Building Artificial Stretchers, Team Building & Leadership Class.

8. DISASTER MANAGEMENT DAY WISE BREAK UP Day 1: Introduction and Induction along with the basics of course. History of S & R and importance of Disaster Management in life. Day 2: Theoretical, demonstration and practical classes on Fire, earthquake and human disaster. Day 3: Classes on First aid, artificial stretcher, usage of equipment, Rescue signal with practical and demonstration. Day 4: Hardcore practical on ascending and descending on any surface (rock, wall, building etc.) Day 5: Practical and theory examination, physical test, fun activities and finally conclusion with grade results. Total course timing is 25 hours for 5 days. Instructor ratio would be 8:1 that means 1 instructor for every 8 candidates.

9. Rock Climbing Duration: 3/5/7 Days Mode of Teaching: English or Hindi Process: Theory, Practical Demonstration, Individual Practical, Examination and Certification. Course Coverage Introduction of Rock Climbing Equipments, Its usage, Rope Coiling, Care and Maintenance of the Equipments. Rope Knot Lashing and Roping Up. Anchoring, Belaying and Practicing Climbing in a Team. Stretcher Making, Rope Ladders, Rope Stretcher. Jummaring, Fixed Rope Running Rescue, Rescue from Heights and Evacuation of Casualties.
