Reqardinq a Recorunendation for ilohn McCaul
,fohn McCaul beglan teaching continuing education courses at
Atl-antic Business College in the spring of 1988. His specialty
is computer software which includes DOS, computer for beginners,
computer literacy, word processing, spreadsheets, desktop
publishing, and presentation /reporx packages.
His compuLer expertise and del-ivery have earned him an excellent
reputation as an adult educator. .Tohn has ass j-sted the College by
helping us keep current i-n computer technology and in many
instances, he has personally designed and implemented new courses
in our night school curriculum.
Mr. McCauI's rapport with his students is excel-l-ent. Each
continuing education class is evaluated by the participanLs and
,-Tohn's students describe him as organized, well prepared, aLtuned
to the studenL's learning style, and very patient. He has been
hired on many occasions to give my st.aff instruction in a new
software package and has earned the respect of al-l his co-
workers.
,fohn's greatest strength lies in hls approach to any task
assigned him which he meets with creativity and intelligence. He
is an innovator and enjoys a chal-l-enge. He researches his
material thoroughly, prepares his classes effectively, and shows
appropriate responses to any probl-ems he may confront in the
cfassroom.
Mr. McCaul works well with little or no supervision and is very
responsible and trustworthy. He has a great personality and a
good sense of humour.
