Application seeking position for Senior Accountant and Payroll Officer
Please find enclosed a copy of my CV which details my previous employment
history and skills.
I am a veryorganised person and having experience in Sage 300 ERP and Oracle
EMIS, with excellent skills in IT including MS Office packages and Excel
spreadsheets.
In my previous role with Qatar International School, as Assistant Finance Manager
for the last Six years I have had very good experience in Accounts department
and I feel that I am efficient and accurate in all aspects of Accounts Receivables
and Accounts payable, including preparing Budget reports and authorizations for
Petty Cash.
I have also enjoyed the great opportunity of successful payroll operations of over
220 employees through WPS. This required daily requisitioning, communication
with senior hiring staff, and those involved in benefits. I am a veryorganised
person and this helps with my role as it’s essential to be 100% accurate so that
staff are not over or under paid and that they are paid on time into their correct
bank account etc. I am a skilled communicator, great with numbers, and am
extremely deadline driven. Additional I am proficient in SAGE and all accounting,
payroll software system.
I am a responsible person and remain calm under pressure and I am now seeking
a new environment in which to work and I would like to grow within the company

England (commonly referred to as the ‘British National Curriculum’ for Students ranging
between 3 and 18 Years old. The school was started in 1977 and managed by British
professionals and has developed into one of the largest British Schools in Qatar, with
around 1800 students in role.
Software worked with: Sage 300 ERP / SIMS
Assistant Finance Manager September 2010 – present
– Processing monthly payroll over 220 employees and periodically end of service
processing, ensuring timely payment of salaries and entitlements.
– Ensuring accurate interfacing of all payroll journals to the general ledger application.
– Issuing various payroll reports to support financial projections, audits, HR reviews and
compliance issues.
– Maintain proper communication with HR team in order to achieve the objectives of
HRMS.
– Issue the school fees invoices for parents and companies each term in a proper time
in order to assure early distribution of them.
– Maintain proper communication with admission team in order to invoice and credit the
new students and leavers.
– Issue a monthly variance report with the comparability of issued invoices and recorded
students in the data base.
– Monitor the daily collections with the cashiers and make sure the cash receipts are
recorded and posted accurately.
– Issue monthly budget reports to respective depts...
– Approvals of Petty Cash after ensuring required budget balances

– Account management for Damage-Warehouse transfers for the month in order to
reconcile un-saleable stock.
– Timely update of customer invoices and reports any discrepancies to the logistics.

– Check Sales-returns and post entries to the inventory module accordingly.
– Prepare round-off entries for Cash Van Customers.
