This document examines how communications and marketing executives are adapting to the challenges posed by the Trump administration, highlighting themes such as the need for flexibility, proactive engagement, and the impact of misinformation. Interviewees discussed their strategies for mitigating reputational risks and navigating polarized stakeholder responses amid the rise of fake news. The findings suggest that these leaders are focused on preparing their organizations for rapid responses to unforeseen issues related to political discourse and executive actions.
