* Making the decision to get fit and lose weight is a choice.
* The hard part is to follow through on that decision.

* Are you an emotional eater?
* Take a look at what it is that triggers you to
 eat.
* Do you see food as a comfort or a reward?
* Food is a fuel
* It provides our body with energy through
 nutrients. Proteins to help build and strengthen
 our muscles.
* What is your Plan?
* Take the time to think this through. By writing
 down a few short and long term goals you set
 in place a plan of action that will help to
 create a permanent change.

* Reward yourself your accomplishments.
* As you reach those short term goals celebrate.
* What is a reward to you? Going to a spa?
 Buying a new outfit? Or joining a friend for a
 night at the movies?
* We all need to do our own hard work in order
 to make this happen.
* However it is always nice to receive a little
 help and support from our friends.
* Start an accountability group.
* Share with each other your goals and plans on
 how to accomplish them. Share with each
 other the food choices you make. Even a few
 simple healthy recipes.


                           *
* Look around; who else do you know that wants
 to lose weight and be fit? Ask them to join in.
 Help each other out with motivation and
 support as well as accountability.
* Then celebrate your victories together.
* What else?
* Go to your fridge and pantry. Make room for all
 the healthy food choices to fuel your body.
* Whole grains, fruits, vegetables, lean protein.
* Don’t forget a healthy supply of snacks like
 yogurt, nuts, carrots and hummus.
* Find your own fun foods to help get you
 through your busy day.

* Exercise is the best way to burn calories and
 melt off unwanted fat. Find the workout and
 activities you enjoy.
* You may not be ready to run a marathon but
 you can decide to start.
* Set up a workout schedule, mark it down on
 your calendar.
* Then just Do-it……

* It won’t be easy but with the right mindset,
 motivation, and support. You can do this.
* It can still be your year, believe in yourself and
 make it happen.
