1. Dear Celeste Renee Hicks, we’ve been dating for
nearly 1,000 days… I’m not going to lie to the world and
tell everyone a whole bunch of lies. Our relationship
lately, within the past month, has been extremely
inconsistent; Full of ‘I love you’s’ but also full of
fights… Every relationship has fights but when you truly
love someone as much as I love you, the fights burn a
fire inside of me. A kind of fire that I would do
whatever it takes to put out. I wanted to do something
for you that I’ve never done… so I got to thinking. Sit

6. A few days after that last picture was taken, you left me for a
month. You went out to Arizona. At the time, we thought
that it’d be a horrible idea as we thought there would be
absolutely no way that we’d stay together without seeing each
other for a month. Now, looking back… I’m so happy that
you took your trips to Arizona as it only made us stronger as
a couple.. It made us appreciate what we truly had and that’s
what a relationship is… two people who truly appreciate the
special bond that they share together.
11. January 28th, 2013.
Your first ever Jackets
game.
I’ll never forget the look on your face when I
gave you your first ever Blue Jackets shirt… told
you to put it on and that we were going to the
Hockey game! There’s a first time for everything
sweetheart. CBJ.
12. February 6th, 2013.
You used to fall asleep in my
arms a lot. I’d do anything to go
back to this day…
13. February 14th, 2013.
Our first Valentines Day together.
“Everyone meet my Valentine. This Valentines Day is so
special for many reason. The biggest reason being that it is
my first Valentines Day EVER spent with a special
someone. Celeste... It is my complete honor to call you my
girlfriend. Every single day is Valentines Day for us because
our entire relationship is modeled off of the word
"LOVE". It's my job to wake up every morning... making
you feel like the most special girl in the world. I call you
beautiful so much... only 50 times per day but it's only
because I LOVE you! haha. I'm so stoked to see where love

14. I remember sitting outside in 30 degree weather cheering you on… shouting your name. you made me
so proud on the field. Your competitiveness, your drive to succeed, your characteristic that never let
you fail. I’d do anything to cheer you on again on last time.

17. Attending Church and Worship group with you is such a blessing. Seeing you grow
in your young, faithful life is a blessing too. I’m so proud of you for taking the
