2. INTRODUCTION

Medical Examiners. Among his professional memberships, Dr.
Bruce Hugh Dorman belonged to the International Anesthesia
Research Society (IARS) from 1992 to 2004. Each year, IARS
holds its Annual Meeting for anesthesiologists to connect with
learning and networking opportunities.
The IARS 2019 Annual Meeting will be held in conjunction with
the International Science Symposium from May 16 to 20 in
Montreal. IARS welcomed researchers to submit their abstracts
through its Abstract Submission Site; authors will present their
winning abstracts before attendees at the conference.

 Other programs on the docket include panels,
discussions, and lectures. On May 18, the opening
general session and T.H. Seldon Memorial Lecture will
focus on the lack of access to affordable, timely, and
safe surgery. May 19 will feature a panel on
anesthesia patient safety.
