Prologue:
The fact that my portfolio is a Word Document and not a PPT must tell you something.
Writing is my passion. I used to write on the way to college in the college bus (when we don’t
have any tests), when sleep is light years away on some nights, on lazy weekend afternoons-

2. simply put any time when I find a free hour at hand . (This is one topic which you wouldn’t want
me to get started on).So let me keep first things first and here it goes……..
I am Steffi Sharon David Jebakumar.
My native place is Tirunelveli famous for its halwa. My dad is a Deputy General Manager
with Industrial Development Bank of India currently posted in Mumbai. My mom is a Senior
Lecturer at the District Institute of Education & Training currently posted in Chennai. I have two
younger sisters.
ACADEMIC DETAILS
With both of my parents working, I can say that moving to a new city every three or four
years became the norm. Over the past 21 years my family has moved across Trichy, Salem,
Erode and Chennai. So I was not new to the new-kid-in the block-first- day –jitters during my
primary school years but later came to enjoy the activities associated with every move
However the moving years finally came to an end when I was doing my seventh grade
in Holy Angels’ Anglo Indian Higher Secondary School and I completed my schooling in
Chennai.
I scored 90% in my SSLC Board Exams. Biology being my favorite subject, I opted
for the Group-ii in Higher Secondary and scored 87% in my Higher Secondary Board Exams.
I have represented my school in several Creative writing contests and won several of
the contests. I have coined some slogans for my school’s initiative to educate people on the
benefits of being eco-friendly.
I completed my UG course in Electronics &Instrumentation Engineering with a
CGPA of 7.1 from St. Joseph’s College Of Engineering.
I was an active member of my college’s Quiz Club and English Club. I was one of the
organizers of the event KONNEXIONS (technical) for our department symposium Jet Gauge
2K14 which was one of the new entrants that was highly appreciated.
STRENGTHS:
I have been the go -to person for some creative, out- of –the –box ideas in teams I am part of.
I am a team player and I am always known to be a significant contributor in teams I am part

3. of. I am always eager to learn new things. I love challenges because I believe that challenges
provide scope for new learning.
INTERESTS:
Reading
For me, reading qualifies not as a hobby I dabble with in my free time but as something
I can’t do without even a single day. My day typically starts with something in print(newspapers,
magazines....) and ends with something in print(some book I can lay my hands on…….).I am a
huge fan of suspense novels.
Photography:
This is the latest entrant into my list of interests. I love clicking pictures of things which I find
interesting –advertisement hoardings, advertising slogans, everyday candid yet colorful
moments .But nature photography is something which I would love to specialize…..
Other interests
My other interests include watching movies with the out- of –the-box storylines that
do not follow tried and tested templates, gardening and taking long walks during which I would
love some cool breeze (but sadly it seems in cities like Chennai breezes become a dream……)
STEPPING INTO THE WORLD OF POSSIBILITIES-THE MINDTREE CHAPTER…….
On 19th July I stepped into Kalinga campus (training center) as one of the 463 campus
minds and the first thing I loved about this place was its ambience. I was tagged to the DOTNET
stream. The training at Kalinga was structured as a self-learning program with our leads only to
give us a lift over the tough parts. And the word “explore” became the order the day…
I loved this training structure. I can say that I am competent in the following technologies-C#,
SQL, ADO.NET and Web Programming (ASP.NET, CSS, HTML.JAVASCRIPT and
JQUERY).
Currently, I am working as a UI Developer out of Bengaluru. And it’s been simply awesome
from day one. All along there were several learnings and some great initiatives I have been part
of and these are the things that make my job exciting…..
