I will be incorporating a variety of teaching strategies
through the utilization of graphs and timelines for my
categorical learners; videos and virtual tours to benefit my
audio-visual learners; as well as role-play and cooperative
learning groups for my kinesthetic learners.
3. State Objectives
• My fifth grade students will describe the major issues
and events that led to the Civil War and identify the key
battles that influenced the war’s outcome by utilizing
cooperative learning groups, timelines, graphs,
interactive maps, videos, reenactment, blogs, online
research, and journaling by the end of the week with
95% accuracy.
