This document provides a first-person account of one's relationship with God. It describes how, despite being a sinner deserving of punishment, God sent his son Jesus to die for sins and make salvation possible. Through faith in Jesus, one is forgiven of sins, adopted as God's child, and assured of eternal life. God justifies, or declares righteous, believers and sees them as innocent through Christ's righteousness. The Holy Spirit indwells believers and empowers them. God now looks upon believers with only love and compassion.
