INVITATION TO WAND HANDS ON COURSE AT SHOWROOM
Following the success of courses held in 2012, where we got 100% positive
feedback. 100% of the participants said that they would recommend the
course.
DPS are offering a morning or afternoon session of hands on training on
the practical use of The Wand and The Wand STA computerised
anaesthetic device.

OBJECTIVE
The object of the course is to answer any questions that you may have
regarding The Wand so that by the end of the session you will be
confident to use it as a complete replacement for the syringe, thus having
a syringe free practice in future.
This objective will be achieved by offering practical hands on training under the supervision of our
Clinical Consultant Dr Arfan Rashid. Dr Rashid has used The Wand and more recently The Wand
STA for more than 5 years at his very busy mixed practice in Witham Essex.
AGENDA
The course will be in two parts. The first in the conference room where Dr Rashid will ask the course
members what issues they wish to resolve. These will all be written down and addressed during the
course so that by the end everyone will feel fully confident in the use of The Wand for all injections.
In the second part of the course, the course participants will have the
opportunity to give and receive injections. The course will be mainly
of a practical nature.
Dr Rashid will demonstrate how the various types of injections are
best carried out from an ergonomic point of view.
As the course is an intense practical learning experience, we have
decided to limit the number of delegates to 16, to ensure the
maximum benefit to you. It is therefore important to let us know as
soon as possible which session you wish to attend.

THE COST
The course costs £99 per delegate including VAT. Payment is due on reserving a place. Due to the
limited number of attendees and the costs involved, this fee will only be refunded if we are able to
replace you if you decide not to attend.
