A comparison of the curriculums of
  the majors of Foreing Language
    Teaching (UCOL) and English
        Language (UQROO).

The first thing that you need to know is :
            what is a curriculum?
Palladino (2005) says:
“Currículum o currículo es utilizado para designar
  de forma general el proyecto que organiza las
  actividades educacionales escolares, precisa sus
  intenciones y proporciona guías de acción para
  los docentes. En el mismo se traduce una serie de
  principios filosóficos pedagógicos, psicológicos
  que muestran la orientación general del sistema
  educativo de un país, una región o una
  institución.”

This project is about a comparison of two curriculums of the
majors of Foreign Languages Teaching in the University of
Colima and English Language in the University of Quintana
Roo.

What is a comparison?

To do a comparison is an examination of two or more objects
with the view of discovering the resemblances of differences
relative estimate.




 In other words to do a comparison is to know what
 points are equals and what points are different , and
 why . So in this project I want to know the differences
 between this two curriculums.
Why I want to do a comparison ?
One of the reason is to
 know if what they
 propose in their
 curriculums really achieve
 at the end of the major ,
 that's mean if the student
 who are graduating has all
 the abilities that he needs
 in order to do a good job
 outside the classroom
 ( real world).
Another reason :
• Another reason is
  because for each
  university is going to help
  to know if all the
  elements of the
  curriculum are working
  correctly and if not, they
  are going to do some
  changes.
The benefits are:
• The people who are working doing the
  curriculums of each major , are going to know
  what they need to implement, change , renew
  or leave in order that the curriculum works
  better.
• Each university is going to know another
  perspective of the other university , and this
  is going to help to feed the curriculum , and in
  that way it is going to work better.
The process:
        1.- Analyzing the two curriculums:
*Foreign Languages Teaching
*English Language

                   be analyzed?
*Mission and Vision
*Subjects
*Objectives
*Perfil de Ingeso
*Perfil de Egreso
THEN:

• 2.-The comparison of the curriculums ,and the
  same elements .
