This document describes a case of bronchial asthma treated with homeopathy. The patient was brief and avoided providing details about his medical history, life, and problems. Based on the patient's abrupt and irresponsible manner of answering questions, the homeopath prescribed Germanium 200C. The patient's asthma, cold, and cough symptoms improved after 4 weeks and he was feeling much better after 10 weeks. The case demonstrates the importance of the physician identifying characteristic symptoms, even when not stated directly by the patient, and selecting the appropriate homeopathic remedy.

I saw a patient who was posted at
the Japanese consulate. He was
briefed about details required for
Homoeopathic treatment. Also he
was given a history form which
described clearly what details had
to be given.

4. In spite of this not much of a
history was written. Only a few
lines mentioned his complaint.
