Contracted IBM Global Technology Services to design and
deliver an IBM Scalable Modular Data Center, featuring built-in
power redundancy; single-point-of-failure protection; and a
compact, scalable, low-cost design
Established a fully equipped data center for the new racks by
dividing a 1650m2 IDC into two rooms, placing 21 redundant
160kVA UPSs and 14 redundant 80kVA UPSs in separate
zones; also installed four generators, transformers, cabling and
a facility monitoring system
Conducted a total cost of ownership (TCO) analysis, comparing
the existing IDC with thermal analysis capabilities
Executed a thermal analysis
Provided an optimized cooling solution design
