The WCTC Small Business Center provides entrepreneurial education and resources to foster economic growth in southeastern Wisconsin. It offers credit and non-credit courses taught by professionals, as well as counseling, workshops, networking events, and a technical assistance program. In the past year, the Center provided over 1200 hours of counseling to 1500 students and 300 FASTart participants. A survey found that 51 clients started businesses, with 41 located in Waukesha County, 28 increasing revenue, and 71 directly crediting the Center for their success. The Center aims to spread awareness of its services and connect with local organizations to create more referrals.
