This document discusses the development of a real-time GPS tracking system called the Bata Positioning System (BPS) over multiple years. In 2002, BPS created a complete working prototype with custom hardware and software. In 2003, BPS introduced a new map server with web access, satellite images, and the ability to replay tracks. They also developed lighter weight hardware with GPRS support. The document later discusses a graduation project for remotely monitoring home ventilators using web services.
