This document outlines the design and development process for a new product. It includes the key stages of information collection, design and drawings, prototyping, mold development, testing, and production. The general schedule estimates 1.5 weeks for information collection, 2.5 weeks for design and drawings, 4.5 weeks for prototyping, 8.5 weeks for mold development, and 10.5 weeks for testing to verify and validate the design before final production approval. The overall process from design input to approval is estimated at 13.5 weeks.
