7. Music In My Opinion I think that music should play a large role in the education process. And all different types of music should be used because studies have proven that different types of music stimulate different parts of the brain. Music is a way to get kids thinking without boring them. Music is a large part in everyone’s life in some way or another and bringing it into the classroom is just another way to keep kids interested in their school work. Grooveshark would be a great website for teachers because it is a free site and it is so simple to use. You can save your playlist and access it at anytime without a lot of hassle.

Now you do not even need a computer to use Skype, just a mobile phone with internet or WIFI. It is used like a chat site, you can save your friends and add their phone numbers. 9. Going Beyond… Skype has been around for a few years now, therefore some great new changes have occurred. Now members can call outside numbers. They can even call long- distance or Internationally. They also have a pay by the minute program to help you keep in touch with the ones you love, no matter where they are.

10. Going Beyond... In My Opinion I think that teachers should be available for their students as much as possible, especially since parents are not always that involved with their kids school work. I think that Skype is a great way to do this. Whenever you get a message it makes a little sound and you can either chat or talk face to face with your students. I think most kids would feel more comfortable with this over calling a teacher. This is the age of technology so relationships are easier over the computer. That’s why I think Skype is a great way to respond to students.

11. Share Them Files YouSendIt.com (click here) File sharing has become very popular in the last year or so and there are so many sites to do so. The YouSendIt site allows you to share files through a simple URL. You do need to upload the file that you want to share, but after that you can share it with anyone you want. 13. File Sharing… In My Opinion I think that file sharing would be a great way for teachers to post and accept assignments, kind of like we do on Oncourse. I think that kids work really well with computers and that they would feel really comfortable turning in assignments online and sharing assignments with others (like group work).
