Tips:
- As permitted – the load per holder for equipment or ducts is comparable
to a DN 50 pipe. If needed certification can also be provided.
For heavier loads on the trapezium sheet – the weight needs to be
evenly distributed onto many holders.
- As per the stipulations provided for by the VdS – bolting needs to be secured
by a locking nut. This is also applicable for swaying loads. The use of steel
blind rivets or metal sheet drilling screws for sprinkler systems is not permitted.
- As per the building inspection regulations Z - 14.1 - 4, the fastening onto trapezium
sheets is only permissible for sealing rivets with Ø 4.00 mm AlMg 5 (DIN 1725) or
for hardened steel drilling screws with Ø 4.2 mm. As per the regulations the
maximum permissible load is independent of the thickness of the trapezium sheets.
