Honors English Information

  Students will be invited to apply
  by the McQ English Department
              Criteria is a combination of
                 grades and test scores.
1. Reading Comprehension score on a recent standardized test of

   85 percentile or above.
2. An A in Language Arts in all four quarters of 8th grade.
3. Excellent attendance. (Fewer than ten absences of any kind)
4. Excellent citizenship grades.
5. Proficient writing sample.
