Rajinder Saigal, who met Sandeep Marwah in Cannes during Cannes International Film Festival this year, is keen in submitting his short film to many more international festivals to showcase the work he has done in animation. Saigal approached Dr. Marwah for further professional assistance. Rajinder Saigal presented Dr. Marwah a graphic novel ‘Giddoo’ along with 58 minutes Animated DVD of Giddoo story, his latest work of art. “I am impressed by the work and dedication of AAFTian Rajinder Saigal who has done very well in New Media. The campus of Marwah Studios was bubbling with energy and huge turnover of young designers and fashion lovers. “We are successful in our venture. No one in India has ever thought of organizing a fashion festival to that extent. Designing is playing a very important part in every segment of every industry, be a car or airplane or it is designing of stationery or toys. There is a need to highlight this concept and new ideas,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of Festival. “I appreciate the enthusiasm of ICMEI and AAFT to take this kind of fair to international level. Soon this fashion week will be known to the world. I assure you that Morocco will take part in this festival next time. I am lucky to be associated and it has given me quite a new ideas to think about designing,” said H.E. The second collection “Contrast” was an amalgamation of black and white inspired by extreme opposites. The designers Mr. Rajat Kalra and Ms. Rashmi Singh (Diploma FD) tried to showcase that without the black, white can’t be defined and vice-versa just like happiness and sadness holds no meaning without each other. The third collection “Reflection” was inspired by the inner strength of a female, who has the capability to shine even in the darkest of nights. 1. 86th AAFT Festival of Short Digital Films Inaugurated

2. Noida Film City: “We have created a World Record by touching 86th Edition of our festival. There is no other festival in the World to reach to 86th edition so far” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studio at the inauguration of 86th AAFT Festival of short Digital Films at Marwah Studio. “This is the only festival which has given opportunity to more than 2000 directors from all over the World to showcase their debut film in last 22 years” added Kalyan Sarkar Dean AAFT. Some of the finest films during the festival were screened including ‘Taj Mahal – Crown of Earth’ directed by Aamir Naqvi, ‘Maa Ki Aankh’ by Hitesh Tandon, Bloody Red by Anjali, ‘Sunaina’ by Parvesh Saini, ‘Side Effects of Criticism’ by Alok Chaturvedi and ‘Masoom’ by Nikhil Kapoor This is for the first time in the World where any film school has adapted a historical monument-A Wonder of The World as a part of its syllabus for making and studying cinema informed Marwah. AAFT also celebrated its curtain raiser a day before where the H.E. Mentor Villagomez, Ambassador of The Republic of Ecuador in India released the poster of the festival. He was also accompanied by Dr. Patricio Garces, Head of political and cultural affairs, Embassy of Ecuador in India.
