Noida 18th April: The second day of 3rd Global Fashion And Design Week attracted many more designers from all over India and abroad. The campus of Marwah Studios was bubbling with energy and huge turnover of young designers and fashion lovers. “We are successful in our venture. No one in India has ever thought of organizing a fashion festival to that extent. Designing is playing a very important part in every segment of every industry, be a car or airplane or it is designing of stationery or toys. There is a need to highlight this concept and new ideas,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of Festival. “I appreciate the enthusiasm of ICMEI and AAFT to take this kind of fair to international level. Soon this fashion week will be known to the world. I assure you that Morocco will take part in this festival next time. I am lucky to be associated and it has given me quite a new ideas to think about designing,” said H.E. Muhomed Maliki Ambassador of Morocco to India lighting the ceremonial lamp. “Festivals like these bring many countries together. I am impressed that designers are also showcasing range from Bulgaria. We would like to part of every event of ICMEI, it is indeed an international platform,” said H.E. Eleonara Dimitrova Ambassador of Bulgaria to India. Indo Morocco Film And Cultural Forum was launched from the platform where H.E. Muhomed Maliki was honored with the Patronship and Ambassador nominated Sandeep Marwah as the Chair of the forum. Sandeep Marwah also presented Patronship of Indo Bulgarian Film And Cultural Forum to H.E. Eleonara Dimitrova. “It is difficult to express in words the achievements of Dr. Sandeep Marwah, his contribution is par excellence. He is in real nation building and promoting young talent now in fashion and design too. Lets work hard to create a better India together,” said Kuljeet Chahal General Secretary Bhartiya Janata Party. The first lady of Algeria in India Yahia Cherif Yassina and Baujdaria Rim from Embassy of Tunisia were also present there. A coffee Table Book Bazars of India was released by the dignities prepared by Tanya Sharma. Designer Vaibhav Singh, Mitali Bhatnagar, Ayan Bhatnagar, Rinkoo Shroff, Academician Ritu Mathur and Aditya Vig, Sanjeev Maglani of Kalpana Garments were others speakers on the occasion. Ritu Lal Director AAFT proposed vote of thanks. A terrific colorful authentic range of garments were presented by young designers including Mohd Uwais who showcased the range from South Africa followed by Jyoti Bisht & Priyansha Priyal from Slovenia, Vdika Singh & Payal from Iran, Sanya Sahani & Amisha Choudhary from Afghanistan, Purnima & Vikas Yadav from Nigeria, Avisha Adhkari & Riya Dobhal from Bulgaria, Pooja Choudhary & Vandana Yadav from Sudan, Nidhi Tiwari from Maldives and Manpreet Kaur presented range from Egypt Later Sandeep Marwah honored the dignities by presenting them with memento and participation certificate of fashion and design week.

8th Global Fashion and Design Week Noida 2024 Sets New Standards in Creative ...
Noida, India — The 8th Global Fashion and Design Week, held in Noida, has set unprecedented records, becoming the largest fashion event hosted by an educational institution both in India and internationally. This three-day event dazzled attendees with its innovative displays in fashion and furniture design, under the leadership of Festival President Sandeep Marwah, who is also the president of Marwah Studios.
Organized by the International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry in collaboration with AAFT School of Fashion and Design, AAFT School of Interior Design, and AAFT School of Hospitality and Tourism, the festival showcased the depth of global creative talent. An impressive roster of participants from 72 countries contributed to a culturally rich and diverse experience.
The event featured 200 designers who participated in 90 rounds of runway shows, displaying over 550 garments. Additionally, there were four exhibitions including collections of coffee table books, Indian Suits & Sarees, a Photography Exhibition, and 100 creative furniture pieces. The culinary arts were also highlighted with 9 food shows representing the cuisine of 20 countries, all prepared by 700 professionals over nearly three months of planning.
The festival attracted a footfall of 23,000 people, including 250 notable figures from the fashion and design world, as well as 20 Ambassadors and High Commissioners, adding a significant international flavor to the event. A marching band from AAFT added a royal touch to the festivities, which were covered by 500 media houses worldwide.
Each day of the event was documented by the AAFT School of Journalism, with support from 100 volunteers from AAFT School of PR Events and Advertising, 100 digital media representatives from AAFT School of Digital Marketing, and 100 camera persons from AAFT School of Still Photography.
The overwhelming appreciation and congratulations from 72 nations underscored the festival’s success in integrating and showcasing the unique cultural garments of various countries, alongside their national flags, in a spectacular ramp show format.
The opening session of the event was graced by distinguished guests including H.E. Dambajavyn Ganbold, Ambassador of Mongolia, Cdr. K.L. Ganju, Honorary Consul General of Comoros in India, celebrated designer Rina Dhaka, and Ruby Yadav, Cultural Head of the BJP Wing. The session was supported by the World Peace Development and Research Foundation, which endeavors to promote the messages of love, peace, and unity through art and culture as championed by Marwah Studios.

Noida: Representatives of nine countries participated including Nigeria, Tajikistan, Sri Lanka, Mauritius, Vietnam, Nepal, Afghanistan, Ghana and India in an international conference on Changing Trends in Media and Skill Development organized by the Skill Development Council of ICMEI- International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry in association with Ministry of Skill Development And Entrepreneurship, Government of India at Noida Film City.
The case study of oldest skill development school-Asian Academy of Film And Television with its 101 international and National organizations was the topic of the discussion.
Edirin Patience from Nigeria noted down the presence of Sandeep Marwah in Nigeria and the role of Indo Nigerian Film Association. Raju Prasad Sah from Nepal appreciated the appointment of Marwah as Chairperson of Indo Nepal Cultural Forum by the Prime Minister of Nepal H.E. K.P. Sharma Oli. Fida Mohammad Salih from Afghanistan liked the idea of Marwah Studios of producing films in joint venture with Afghani film director under Indo Afghanistan Cultural Forum.
Heman Bissessur from Mauritius valued the meeting of Marwah with the Prime Minister of Mauritius H.E.Anerood Jugnauth. Sachithra Darshana Perera from Sri Lanka was informed of the visit of high profiled delegation from Sri Lanka at Marwah Studios.

A delegation of filmmakers from Ghana's Film Directors Guild of Ghana visited Marwah Studios in Noida, India to strengthen collaboration between the film industries of Ghana and India. Noida: The second day of 2nd Global Literary Festival Noida 2016 witnessed three collections. The first collection “Raas” designed by Mr. Vivek Rao (M.Sc. FD) represented the eternal bond of love and did absolute justice to its theme “Wedding”. It very aptly depicted the feeling of togetherness and culmination of two souls.
The second collection “Contrast” was an amalgamation of black and white inspired by extreme opposites. The designers Mr. Rajat Kalra and Ms. Rashmi Singh (Diploma FD) tried to showcase that without the black, white can’t be defined and vice-versa just like happiness and sadness holds no meaning without each other.
The third collection “Reflection” was inspired by the inner strength of a female, who has the capability to shine even in the darkest of nights. She absorbs all negativities and reflects back just the shine, sparkle and dazzle. The students of Diploma FD designed the collection.

- 1. 3rd Global Fashion And Design Week Attracted Design Fraternity Noida 18th April: The second day of 3rd Global Fashion And Design Week attracted many more designers from all over India and abroad. The campus of Marwah Studios was bubbling with energy and huge turnover of young designers and fashion lovers. “We are successful in our venture. No one in India has ever thought of organizing a fashion festival to that extent. Designing is playing a very important part in every segment of every industry, be a car or airplane or it is designing of stationery or toys. There is a need to highlight this concept and new ideas,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of Festival. “I appreciate the enthusiasm of ICMEI and AAFT to take this kind of fair to international level. Soon this fashion week will be known to the world. I assure you that Morocco will take part in this festival next time. I am lucky to be associated and it has given me quite a new ideas to think about designing,” said H.E. Muhomed Maliki Ambassador of Morocco to India lighting the ceremonial lamp.
- 2. “Festivals like these bring many countries together. I am impressed that designers are also showcasing range from Bulgaria. We would like to part of every event of ICMEI, it is indeed an international platform,” said H.E. Eleonara Dimitrova Ambassador of Bulgaria to India. Indo Morocco Film And Cultural Forum was launched from the platform where H.E. Muhomed Maliki was honored with the Patronship and Ambassador nominated Sandeep Marwah as the Chair of the forum. Sandeep Marwah also presented Patronship of Indo Bulgarian Film And Cultural Forum to H.E. Eleonara Dimitrova. “It is difficult to express in words the achievements of Dr. Sandeep Marwah, his contribution is par excellence. He is in real nation building and promoting young talent now in fashion and design too. Lets work hard to create a better India together,” said Kuljeet Chahal General Secretary Bhartiya Janata Party. A terrific colorful authentic range of garments were presented by young designers including Mohd Uwais who showcased the range from South Africa followed by Jyoti Bisht & Priyansha Priyal from Slovenia, Vdika Singh & Payal from Iran, Sanya Sahani & Amisha Choudhary from Afghanistan, Purnima & Vikas Yadav from Nigeria, Avisha Adhkari & Riya Dobhal from Bulgaria, Pooja Choudhary & Vandana Yadav from Sudan, Nidhi Tiwari from Maldives and Manpreet Kaur presented range from Egypt Later Sandeep Marwah honored the dignities by presenting them with memento and participation certificate of fashion and design week.
