In 90 per cent of cases, the About Us page of a web site is the most visited yet it seems a lot of organisations don't give it much thought. Reading their About Us page, it almost seems as though it was an afterthought or "Something we have to have because that's the done thing". What a massive missed opportunity to connect and stand out from your competitors. Google 'tips on About Us pages' and you'll get lots of great advice but it all still really lacks an edge. It's either some whacked approach or it feels plastic and without life. So, whenever I am creating an About Us page for a client here are some of the things I keep in mind.
