POSTPONE TASKS

SCHEDULE BREAKS
SELF-EVALUATE
It's important to realize that
you don't NEED to say 'Yes' to
absolutely everything. If you
know that something isn't a
priority, then don't be
worried to postpone that task
for the next day.
Make a To-Do list the night before and prioritize what really
matters for that day. When you have a clear idea of what you need
to do and how will you do it, it's easier to get tasks done on time.
Therefore, spend time on the tasks that are important to you at that
moment and need to be done that day.
We are all guilty of spending too
much time on our
Facebook/Twitter or just
browsing the Internet
throughout the day. These are
huge distractions. If possible,
spend some days fully offline, or
check your emails less often.
don't say yes to everything
Most people skip their breaks or tend to eat their lunch at
their desk while working. This is a terrible habit. In order
to stay fresh-minded and energized, breaks are essential.
Schedule a few breaks throughout your day, especially a
nice long lunch break, either out of the office or away from
your desk. Go for walks if you can to clear your mind!
Always take some time throughout the day to assess your
productivity and see if you can find any room for improvement.
Could you be doing something a little differently to accomplish more
high-priority tasks?
We love Productivity Apps! They keep you organized and working
efficiently throughout the day. Some of our favorite apps are:
- Evernote for note taking, creating to-do lists, setting reminders &
tasks
- Slack helps to cut down on those long boring, unnecessary meetings
or emails with colleagues - it is a great platform of communication
- Todoist is an app to categorize your tasks and set deadlines.
