This document describes Rust-X, a corrosion prevention product for steel tubes. Rust-X forms a dry, non-stick film to prevent corrosion for up to 180 days. It also cleans metal particles, degreases, and displaces cutting fluids. Rust-X is low viscosity for lower consumption and has a high flash point and low evaporative loss. Properties of two Rust-X products are listed, along with evaporative loss data and consumption rates. A list of customers that use Rust-X is also provided.
