Discurso pronunciado por el Gobernador de Veracruz, Javier Duarte de Ochoa, durante la Colocación de la primera piedra de la futura Terminal de Contenedores y Carga General de Riberas de Pantepec, que se llevó a cabo el 08 de abril de 2013, en la cual mencionó que la construcción de la terminal portuaria en Tuxpan, permite que este puerto pueda recibir mayores cantidades de carga, en buques más grandes y de manera eficaz; esta obra se realiza con la colaboración de empresas de clase mundial, que tienen la misión de mejorar su éxito empresarial y lograr la prosperidad de Tuxpan.
Durante su participación en el evento, el Gobernador resaltó que se ha trabajado durante mucho tiempo en la planeación de este proyecto y que gracias al Gobierno Federal y a las empresas veracruzanas e internacionales se puede llevar a cabo, y es una plataforma para el desarrollo económico de Veracruz.
Mencionó, que obras como estas y con el apoyo de todos los ciudadanos, se puede lograr transformar a Veracruz para que sea más competitivo y próspero, y se aprovechen todas las riquezas y recursos naturales del estado, para que el crecimiento y bienestar económico sea para todos los veracruzanos.
