4. ObjectivesObjectives
Lok Samvad Sansthan (LSS) wants to make All India Media Educators' Conference (AIMEC) not only an event-based
initiative, but also to work in the media fields for advocacy, education, training, research and projects works. Therefore,
this year it has expanded its spectrum and extended as this year. The Conference will bring together a range of
academics, independent researchers, communicators and social media activists at one place to share various research
findings, innovations, and experiences in the field of media. Since this conference will serve as a platform for transferring
knowledge to the future of Media and Mass Communication, we are giving the Media Conference-2019.
The objectives of this conference are:
Media Literacy Promotion
Development Communication and Journalism Promotion with special focus on social sector issues, environment
including climate change.
Combating false and fake news through the use of technology,
Promotion of Mobile Journalism (MOJO)
Citizen journalism including Community Journalism and Data Journalism
Citizen engagement on a social media platform for rights-based campaigns
Protect RTI and its advocates
Advocate peace through media initiatives and engagement
Create content and initiatives for sustainable development
Explore collaboration/partnership in the form of popular web portal/blog sites for theme-based focused areas
5. Lok Samvad Sansthan is a registered non-governmental organization (NGO), set up in 2001 and is registered under Rajasthan
Societies Registration Act 1958.Its Registration number is 91/Jaipur/2000-2001. The organization is operational in Rajasthan,
India.
Lok Samvad Sansthan (LSS) works towards strengthening the communication resources of development sector and promoting
dimension of professional orientation in the field of advocacy, communication and media. LSS has been working on large
number of Government, Non-Government, and Corporate and International organization’s assignments, which are addressing
various social development / public issues, policies and programs, projects dealing with human development. .
Several media and advocacy workshops and national level conferences were organized. Lok Samvad sansthan has
successfully organized three editions of All India Media Educators Conferences during 2015,2016 and 2018 with collaboration of
Rajasthan University, Manipal University, Jaipur, Amity University and Gauhati University, UNICEF-Rajasthan along with
national and international Media organizations, where from 22 states, more than 250 delegates in each year participated with

6. Mohanlal Sukhadia University (erstwhile Udaipur University) at Udaipur is a State University ((NAAC Accredited "A" Grade State
University) established by an Act in the year 1962 to cater to the needs of higher education in Southern Rajasthan with more
than 2.25 Lakh Students.
Conscious about its social responsibilities, the university has played a significant role in socio-economic development of
backward, underprivileged and socially challenged people through its various extension activities. University can take pride in
having ICT enabled working in most of its functional units involved in teaching, learning, research, administration, and
governance. A very strong infrastructure for e-libraries has enhanced the academic growth of the faculty and students.
Creation of new knowledge through research is one of the major objectives of higher education. Realizing its role in the creation
of new knowledge, the university has not only made a visible impact on national and international levels but has also attracted
the interest of other institutions for collaborative research. The university aims to achieve its goal of providing higher education
to create just, plural and equitable society in consonance with constitutional values.
