Natural resources are essential for human life and economic development but must be used sustainably. Mr. Allah Dad Khan, a visiting professor at the University of Agriculture in Peshawar, gave a lecture about the importance of natural resources and how humanity relies on and utilizes resources like water, forests, and land. However, resources are limited so they must be conserved and managed carefully to ensure future generations can also benefit from them.

However, tidal energy also has disadvantages such as potentially impacting the environment, only being available when tides are surging for around 10 hours per day so requiring effective energy storage, and being an expensive new technology that is not yet cost-effective.
