In this guide we will walk you through the
Accomodation and Lots sections of Webiny
Booking System, along with their types, properties
and extra services.
This guide covers:
3. Accommodation types
• What are accommodation types?
• Your accommodation types are groups of
accommodations sharing the same properties
such as hotels, apartment houses, villas,
holiday homes or any other type of
accommodation you want to define.
4. View accommodations unit types
• In the View accommodation unit types you can see all your accommodation unit
types, edit them or delete the types that have no accommodations assigned to.
5. New accommodation unit type
• To create a new
accommodation unit
type, first you need to
select its type, either
lot based or
standalone. After that
you need to define its
name and url slug for
each language in your
system. At the bottom
of the new
accommodation unit
type section you can
select the default unit
type template as well
as the default price
model.
6. Lot types
• What are lot types?
• Lots are specific units of an accommodation.
Lot types are groups of lots sharing the same
properites such as hotel rooms or apartments.
7. View lot unit types
• In the View lot unit types you can see all your lot unit types, edit them or delete the
types you have no lots assigned to.
8. New lot unit type
• To create a new lot unit type, you need to define its name and url slug for each
language in your system. After you've completed that, you can select the default unit
type template and the default price model.
9. Accommodation properties
• What are accommodation properties?
• Every accommodation has definable
properties such as number of beds, distance
to sea, number of stars, etc.
• Accommodation properties can be a numeric
value, text value, multiple select or a
combination.
10. View accommodations properties
• In the view
accommodations
properties you have
an overview of all
your accommodation
properties, their tags,
value types and unit
types they are
assigned to. Also,
here you can edit or
delete your
accommodation
properties.
• If you add new or
delete existing
accommodation
properties, you need
to rebuild your search
catalogue.
11. New accommodation property
• When creating a new
accommodation property
you need to define its
name for each language in
your system. The tag value
assigned to the new
accommodation property
needs to be unique. Under
property type, you need to
select the value type of
your new accommodation
property.
• After you've selected the
unit type this
accommodation property
will be assigned to, you
can select whether the
accommodation property
will be available as a
search option on your
website.
12. View lot properties
• In the view lot
properties you can
see an overview of all
your lot
properties, their
tags, value types and
unit types they are
assigned to. You can
edit the exising lot
properties by clicking
on the pencil icon or
delete them by
clicking on the red
delete icon.
• If you add new or
delete any of the
existing lot
properties, you need
to rebuild your search
catalogue.
13. New lot property
• When creating a
new lot property
you need to define
its name for each
language in your
system. The tag
value assigned to
your new lot
property needs to be
unique. As with the
accommodation
properties, you need
to select the lot
property value type
and select the type
of lot this property
will be assigned to.
Also you can select
whether the lot
property will be
available as a search
option on your
website.
14. Accommodation extra services
• What are accommodation extra services?
• Every accommodation can have extra services
assigned to it. The extra services are optional
or obligatory services such as room cleaning, a
registration fee or a sojourn tax.

• This section gives you an overview of all the accommodation extra services. You can
create a new extra service via the „New accommodation service“ button. You can
also edit or delete existing accommodation extra services.

• When creating a new
accommodation extra
service, you need to
define its name for each
language in your system
as well as a unique tag.
• In the default calculation
data section you can
select whether an extra
service is obligatory. If it
is marked as obligatory it
will be added to every
booking.
• The base price, people
base, days base and age
range defined here are
only default values, they
can be overwritten for
any accommodation.
17. Show lot extra services
• This section gives you an overview of all the lot extra services. You can
create a new extra service via the „New lot service“ button. You can also
edit or delete existing lot extra services.

• When creating a new lot
extra service, you need
to define its name for
each language in your
system as well as a
unique tag.
• In the default
calculation data section
you can select whether
an extra service is
obligatory. If it is marked
as obligatory it will be
added to every booking.
• The base price, people
base, days base and age
range defined here are
only default values, they
can be overwritten for
any lot.
19. Locations
• What are locations?
• The accommodations in your booking system
are segmented by location. You can define as
many locations as you need. You can even
create sub-locations by assigning a parent
location to any child location.
20. View locations
• The View locations
section gives you an
overview of all the
locations defined in
your system. You can
create new locations
directly from this
screen by clicking on
the „New location“
button.
• You can edit existing
locations and delete
the ones that have
no accommodations
assigned.
21. Add new location
• While creating a new
location, you can
assign it as a child of
an existing location.
This is useful for when
you have smaller
locations that are part
of a larger one.
• You also need to input
its name and slug for
each language in your
system.
• It is important to have
at least one location
defined before you
start adding
accommodations.
22. View accommodations
• The View accommodations
section gives you an overview of
all you accommodations.
• You can create new
accommodation directly from
here by clicking on the „New
accommodation type“ button.
• You can filter the list by ID/E.ID,
Partner, Location or
Accommodation Unit type.
• In the list you can activate or
deactivate an accommodation,
edit and view it, or delete it
completely.
• By selecting one or more
accommodations with the
checkbox, you can add/remove
accommodations from special
offers, or activate/deactivate
many accommodations at once.
23. New accommodation
• Creating a new
accommodation
requires that you
have at least one
partner and location
defined in your
system.
• On the „General“ tab
you need to select
the partner, location,
accommodation
status
(active/disabled) and
the inquiry form. You
can use the external
ID field to define a
custom ID for this
accommodation.
24. New accommodation
• Once you've added the accommodation name you have to select the accommodation
template by switching to „Template“ tab.
25. New accommodation
• In the „Properties“ tab you need to define the values for accommodation
properties you've created previously. This needs to be done for each
language in your system.
26. New accommodation
• In the „Extra services“ tab you can select the accommodation extra services that apply to this accommodation.
• When you have selected an extra service, you need to define if it’s a obligatory service, its price, days and people
base and the guest age range
• The guest age range is defined as older than (eg. >18), younger than (eg. <18) or it can be defined as a range (eg.
18-24)
27. New accommodation
• On the „Map“ tab
you can mark the
accommodation
location by
dragging the
marker on the
map, or by
searching by
address.
• Once you've
finished you can
click on „Save &
Add Pictures“
button to add
accommodation
photos.
28. View lots
• The View lots section gives
you an overview of all your
lot.
• You can create a new lot by
clicking on the „New lot“
button.
• You can filter the list of lots
by Accommodation or by
selecting the lot unit type.
• In the list you can change the
status for each lot
(enabled/disabled), edit, view
availability calendar, view
lot, copy or delete lots. By
selecting one or more lots by
marking it in a checkbox, you
can activate/deactivate
lots, add or remove lots from
special offers or delete lots.
29. New lot
• Creating a new lot requires that you have at least one accommodation created in
your system.
• On the „General“ tab you need to select the accommodation, lot status
(active/disabled) and the inquiry form. You can use the external ID field to define a
custom ID for this lot.
30. New lot
• Once you've added the lot name you have to select the lot template by switching to „Template“ tab.
• In the „Properties“ tab you need to define the values for accommodation properties you've created previously. This
needs to be done for each language in your system.
31. New lot
• In the „Extra services“ tab you can select the accommodation extra services that apply to this lot.
• Once you've finished you can click on „Save & Add Pictures“ button to add accommodation photos.
