2. BACA SKALAVERNIER DENGAN MEMBACA GARIS KEBERAPA DARI
SKALA VERNIER YANG PALING LURUS DENGAN GARIS SKALA UTAMA.
Ini akan menunjukkan “ANGKA DESIMAL”
CARA PEMBACAAN JANGKA

HASIL PENGUKURAN = ANGKA NOMINAL (A) + ANGKA DESIMAL (B)
ANGKA NOMINAL = 9 GARIS (1 GARIS = 1 mm)
ANGKA DESIMAL = 13 GARIS (1 GARIS = 0.02 mm)
HASIL PENGUKURAN = (9 X 1 mm) + (13 X 0.02 mm)
= 9 mm + 0.26 mm
= 9.26 mm
CARA PEMBACAAN JANGKA

HASIL PENGUKURAN = ANGKA NOMINAL (A) + ANGKA DESIMAL (B)
ANGKA NOMINAL = 16 GARIS (1 GARIS = 1 mm)

HASIL PENGUKURAN = (16 X 1 mm) + (7 X 0.05 mm)
= 16 mm + 0.35 mm
