Cochin Shipyard Limited's Marine Engineering Training Institute is accepting applications for its 34th graduate marine engineering training batch starting January 1st, 2015. The 108-seat program provides training to obtain a Class IV Marine Engineer certificate. Eligible candidates must be unmarried mechanical or naval architecture graduates under age 28 with at least 50% marks in English and overall, and pass a medical fitness exam. Interested candidates can access the application form online and must submit it by post by November 15th, 2014 to be considered for admission notifications emailed after that date.

Applications are invited from unmarried graduate Mechanical / Mechanical Automation / Naval Architecture Engineers with minimum 50% marks, and 50% marks in English for Std. X or XII for the 34th GME Batch approved by DG Shipping, Govt. of India, starting 1st January 2015, obtaining all documents including Part A of Class IV Certificate of Competency required for joining any Merchant Ship as a Junior Marine Engineer as per STCW 2010.
Age Limit - 28 years as on 1st Jan 2015.
Physical Fitness - Medical fitness certificate from Medical Officer
approved by Directorate General of Shipping.
