“Be an opener of doors” - Ralph Waldo Emerson
As I travel extensively in my career, I thank GC for providing me with the skill sets to always find a common denominator
wherever I go. Whether it’s a new food, a piece of literature, an antiquities museum, or contemporary art, Greensboro College
opened doors for me and taught me to never stop reading, listening, learning and appreciating all that is presented to me.
I know that many of my friends were also ignited by this same GC spirit, and now it’s time to help others capture that spirt
and help Greensboro College change the world in its own unique way. I ask that you recall your own great memories of GC
and consider being an annual patron to our great institution by joining the Greensboro College Society.

The Greensboro College Society is our most
elite giving program here at Greensboro
College. GCS members are strongly
committed to the mission of the college
and fully believe that the experiences that
are provided to its former, current and
future students are worth protecting and
continuing.
Membership may be obtained through
financial contributions of $1,000 or more
each fiscal year (July 1 to June 30).
As a member of this very important group
of GC supporters, not only will you be
recognized in our annual honor roll of
donors, but you also receive the following
additional benefits:
• Society member car decal
• Invitations to exclusive college events
• Access to special campus communications
• Inclusion in the college beautification gift
made in honor of current-year GCS members
The extraordinary value of the liberal-arts education
that defines GC has been a gift that has kept on giv-
ing throughout my personal and professional career.
I believe it’s important to give back to GC because it
provided me with a nurturing family, career preparation
and life-long friends.
Now, it’s my turn to give back and open the door for
another student to have the same wonderful and
life-changing privilege of being a GC graduate.
Please join with me in both duty and joy to help the
next generation of students at GC by becoming an an-
nual member of the Greensboro College Society.

Greensboro College truly helped to make
me the person that I am today. The
relationships that I was able to build here
at GC with the faculty and staff were and
continue to remain strong and influential
in my life. As alumni and supporters of
this wonderful institution, we must pay
continue to pay it forward because many
of us continue to pay it forward because
many of us ourselves benefited from the
gifts of others who gave before us.
Please join with me and help to touch the lives of our current and
future students by joining the Greensboro College Society.
