This document tells the story of two people who met in 2000 in Rockford, Illinois and details the major events of their relationship over the next 8 years. They dated starting in 2001, got married in Jamaica in 2002, lived together in England and the US in various cities, had companions along the way, and were still going strong 8 years later with their love growing each day despite various challenges along the way.

1. Once upon a time…

2. Two people were born 10 years aparton opposite ends of Michigan…

3. They both had (fairly) normal childhoods and crazy families…

4. They were both pretty cute growing up…

6. They both graduated high school…

7. Then, miraculously, many yearslater they met…

8. inROCKFORD, ILLINOIS!!

9. Ok, well, maybe not…But it might have happened!

10. They actually met in August, 2000at

11. They had their first, official “date”In July, 2001 at the Thai Cafe in Plymouth

12. From then on, they spent as much time as possible togetherand they fell in love…

14. In December, 2001they decided to get married…

16. And on March 14, 2002they were married in Port Antonio, Jamaica…

20. When they retuned from Jamaica they had a small reception on May 17, 2002…

24. It was the perfect eveningfor the perfect love.

25. Then their real adventure began…

27. In August 2002David left for England - Nicole and David missed each other and sent pictures every day…

29. In September, Nicole got to visit David

33. They both moved to England in October, 2002

34. They lived in Ironbridge & Priorsleeand traveled all over England…

35. and they traveled to Paris, Venice and Prague, too!

36. When they moved back to the US in June, 2003 – time started to fly…

37. They moved to Milford, MI in September, 2003 and then to Worcester, MA in June, 2005

38. In January, 2006 they made a life-changing decision and moved back to England

39. Unfortunately, the whole England thing didn’t turn out so well…But David & Nicole got to see Rome…

40. and Nicole got to ride around in the 1981 Classic Mini that they finished restoringDavid got to own a BMW 7-Series

41. But, all good things must come to an end and they moved back to Michigan in January, 2007

42. They had a very nice house and gave lots of fun parties…

44. Then the economy crashed and David had another stroke, so in March, 2009 they began another adventure…

45. And they moved to The Middle of Nowhere…YIKES!!!

46. Luckily, they didn’t have to live in the middle of nowhere house for too long…

47. They found a beautiful house near Traverse City and moved in August 11, 2009

54. Through all this they haven’t been alone….oh no….

55. They’ve had LOTS of companionship!
