Technology offer example
• Small wind turbine with high starting torque for
mounting on an inclined roof. (Ref: 10 RO 662C 3IK2 )
• A Romanian inventor has developed a small wind turbine
with cross flow runner, designed to be mounted on a roof.
The main innovative aspect of the wind turbine involves
the addition of a small casing and of a wind deflector,
which, combined with the roof, acts as a wind
concentrator, improving the efficiency of the wind turbine.
The Inventor is looking for Companies interested in
License Agreement, Joint further development, Testing of
new applications and adaptation to specific needs.
Technology offer example
• Ridge Wing Turbine (RWT) - a new wind energy
system (Ref: 10 DK 20B7 3IXT )
• A Danish inventor of a newly patented wind energy
system, Ridge Wing Turbine (RWT), which uses the
turbulent and high wind speeds occuring when wind hits
building and landscape projections for energy production,
is looking for an investor who ideally has a significant
market knowlegde in the field. The concept is specifically
suitable for urban environments and estate installations.
8
9. Technology offer example
• Design and analysis of horizontal and vertical axis
wind turbines of small and medium size (from 1 to 50
KW) (Ref: 07 IT SUUN 0IV2 )
• An Italian research group has designed and built a
prototype of a 5-kW Horizontal Axis small Wind Turbine
(HAWT) and it is working on an innovative Vertical Axis
small Wind Turbine (VAWT) to be patented soon. The
small wind turbines proposed are easy to install and to
maintain; they work well with medium wind intensity
(average wind speed 5.5 m/s); they have low cost. The
research group is looking for industrial partners interested
in further development and in the industrialisation phase.
Technology offer example
• Vertical axis turbine for micro wind engines (Ref: 10
IT 55X5 3HRS )
• The company based in Northern Italy with a specialized
laboratory in Verona is offering to cede the patent of a
vertical axis wind turbine for domestic use and well as for
a wind farm with an electric utility capacity up to 1,5kW.
Prototypes showed efficient results. The company is
furthermore interested in a joint venture to build up wind
farms and to get in contact with distributors for do-it-
yourself shops given the fact that this product requires
only a simple packaging and a self-assembly.
Technology request example
• Technology for 30-100 kW output wind turbine
generator (Ref: 09 HU 50S2 3F4E )
• A medium-sized Hungarian company active in the
production of iron parts of generators for big-sized wind
turbine generator (with several MW power output), is
looking for the production technology and the
manufacturing license of wind turbine generators with 30-
100 kW power output. The sought technology should be
field tested or already on the market. Collaboration type
looked for: licensing agreement or commercial agreement
with technical assistance (technical consultancy).
