Z214
Marketable Resin:
Process used Z214’s into a marketable resin – ultimate goal.

Such as:

• A proprietary resin with engineered plastics properties for
 conventional molding.

• Powder polymer sintering material perhaps a possibility.

• Reverse compounding from the consumer product desired
to tire. Research new resins with recycling friendly properties.
Graduate Collaborative Component: 3-D Computer Modeling and Design a New Product

01-1992 - 06-1992

Diebold Corporation / Kent State University; Antioch University IMA Program
Product Life Cycle Management - mono-material (recycling) construction
Developed a new product (Coinpak) using Diebold’s 3-D computer modeling software (Intergraph EMS /ID)
Coinpak
Coinpak was developed for Diebold Corporation as a
product to efficiently pack, and transport coins to vending
machines that Diebold Corporation was contemplating.

Features I proposed for this product include the use of recyclable
materials, hence its mono-material construction of nylon. Even the
zipper is of nylon construction.

Color coded cordura from Dupont serves as the body material
because it is extremely durable and made from nylon.

Some ergonomic study for men and women is featured on one slide
as well as one slide showing carrying and loading method.
