14. I-4733 Reconstruction of Catawba Ave. interchange with I-77. Originally proposed as new interchange at a cost of $35 million. Has a federal earmark of $5 million. Looking at the use of a Diverging Diamond design which will reduce cost to $6 million and will use the existing bridge.
15. Monroe Bypass The Monroe Bypass; this will be a Design Build contract administered by the Turnpike Authority. RFQ Advertisement April 15, 2010 Bid Opening October 22, 2010 Approx. Cost $750 million
