is not only one of the Valley’s premier charity events; it’s a highly anticipated social
affair as well. This year, the famed Wrigley Mansion sets the stage for an enchanting
evening filled with captivating musical compositions, liberating libations, fanciful
fare and compelling conversations.

Guests will anticipate a night of sophistication and celebration as they walk the red carpet
leading them into the Wrigley Mansion.
The early hours of Noche de Gourmet are a feast for the senses and the palate. With a vast
selection of Southwestern, Italian, Japanese, Asian and New American cuisine, everyone’s
tastes can go on a global gourmet expedition as they visit the numerous vendors providing
signature dishes throughout the venue. Compliment each mouth-watering plate with a
selection from our exclusive collection of microbrews, wines and top shelf liquors.
And the event’s accoutrements don’t stop at fine wining and dining – attendees will also
enjoy dancing to live music throughout the evening, delighting in the thrill of the silent
auction, and partaking in a raffle with many coveted prizes.
For almost three decades, Noche de Gourmet has been a highlight of the Valley’s
social calendar. With the perfect blend of elegance and revelry, it’s easy to forget that
the event is supporting a worthy cause – never has helping children in need been so
entertaining and exhilarating.
The MINT
Part restaurant, part ultra-lounge, The Mint occupies a 7,000 square foot space that
was previously a bank, giving inspiration to the name. In a nod to its past, The Mint’s
centerpiece is the original vault door, while updated touches evoke a hollywood Regency
design influence. With every detail carefully considered, the interior features rich materials
including dark woods and cohiba marble to create booth seating, fireplaces, a luxurious
30 foot bar in the main room and a specialty champagne bar in the co-ed bathroom. The
interior space is highlighted by a state-of-the-art retractable lighting system that shifts the
mood from intimate to expansive as the night evolves from dining to nightlife.
Audible pleasures progress throughout the evening with eclectic house and pop fostering
energy as the day fades to night. If fresh air is your fancy, The Mint boasts the largest
restaurant patio in Old Town Scottsdale; 4,500 square feet dedicated to al fresco drinking
and dining, resort-style cabanas, in addition to traditional arrangements. Indoor and
outdoor combined, The Mint’s three unique bar experiences will invite discovery and ignite
excitement.
The menu, crafted by executive Chef Johnny Chu, offers reasonably priced tastes of
gourmet pan-Asian cuisine, artfully presented on small plates. The tapas menu highlights
Chef Johnny Chu’s novel creativity with traditional Asian dishes through items such as;
Loganberry Shrimp with a spicy peanut dipping sauce; Wasabi Sliders with charcoal grilled
beef marinated in onions, peppers, curry seasoning and topped with pickled wasabi; Flash
Fried Sugar Cane Pork with pineapple ginger sauce; and Japanese Green Tea Cheesecake.
In addition to Asian delights, diners have perfect pairings available with an extensive wine
and sake list. For the experience seeker, handcrafted cocktails are available infusing local
ingredients such as the Queen Creek Olive Mill Dirty Martini.

PHOENIX ALE BREWERY
The Phoenix Ale Brewery is proud to announce the opening of its new craft brewery
located three miles east of downtown Phoenix at 3200 East Washington Street. The
15,700 square feet brewery, office and tasting room sits on 1.1 acres of land directly
adjacent to the light rail system. The brewhouse, which was custom built by JV Northwest
of Canby Oregon, is a 20 barrel, three vessel automated system engineered specifically for
The Phoenix Ale Brewery’s beer styles.
The new brewery is the result of Co-Owner and Sales Manager Greg Fretz’s long-held
ambition to own a brewery: “I was a beer sales guy for fifteen years selling other people’s
beer, dreaming of my own brewery.” The brewer’s first beer will be Fretzy’s Unfiltered Ale
in honor of the founder. “Its going to be a lot of fun selling a beer with my own name on
it” commented Fretz.
Fretzy’s partner in the brewery is craft beer pioneer George Hancock, who is credited with
founding Pyramid Breweries, one of the largest craft brewers in the country. Hancock
brings a wealth of expertise to the organization as its General Manager.
The James Agency
The James Agency is a full service branding, advertising and promotions agency offering a
variety of service to its clientele. In addition to its corporate work, The James Agency has
successfully produced, branded and marketed dozens of area events to raise money and
awareness for non-profits throughout the Valley.
With decadent dishes, enlivening entertainment and smooth spirits, Noche de

To a child, it’s easy to feel so small in a world that’s so big. That feeling of
helplessness is drastically amplified when a child is without a home, without a
stable support system or without their health. Often without anywhere to turn,
these children are left feeling vulnerable and powerless.
Noche de Gourmet benefits the Children In Need Foundation (CINF), a 501 (c)
(3) non-profit which directs its efforts toward underprivileged youth in the Valley.
Through this foundation, the Active 20-30 Club of Phoenix aids in eradicating
the disadvantages that underprivileged children face. Your sponsorship of Noche
de Gourmet will aid in increasing awareness of critical causes, raising funds for
the area’s most worthy children’s charities and providing opportunities for these
children in need to receive hands-on support.
Children In Need Foundation
Throughout the year, CINF puts on several volunteer
events and workshops, coordinated by the Active
20-30 Club of Phoenix, which provide positive
reinforcement and encouragement to children facing
homelessness, abuse, disease and other daunting challenges. Through the use of grants,
CINF also contributes financially to numerous local children’s charities, including Crisis
Nursery Phoenix, Boys & Girls Clubs of Phoenix, Salvation Army Youth and Family Center,
Valley Big Brothers Big Sisters, Project Linus and Arizona March of Dimes. Children In
Need Foundation’s Board of Directors serve on a volunteer basis, and are comprised of
past and present members of the Active 20-30 Club of Phoenix. For more information

Founded by United States Senator Barry Goldwater, the Active 20-30
Club of Phoenix has a distinguished and honored history as one of

This year, the famed Wrigley Mansion sets the stage for an enchanting evening filled with captivating musical compositions, liberating libations, fanciful fare and compelling conversations. A FULL EVENING Guests will anticipate a night of sophistication and celebration as they walk the red carpet leading them into the Wrigley Mansion. The early hours of Noche de Gourmet are a feast for the senses and the palate. With a vast selection of Southwestern, Italian, Japanese, Asian and New American cuisine, everyone’s tastes can go on a global gourmet expedition as they visit the numerous vendors providing signature dishes throughout the venue. Compliment each mouth-watering plate with a selection from our exclusive collection of microbrews, wines and top shelf liquors. And the event’s accoutrements don’t stop at fine wining and dining – attendees will also enjoy dancing to live music throughout the evening, delighting in the thrill of the silent auction, and partaking in a raffle with many coveted prizes. For almost three decades, Noche de Gourmet has been a highlight of the Valley’s social calendar. With the perfect blend of elegance and revelry, it’s easy to forget that the event is supporting a worthy cause – never has helping children in need been so entertaining and exhilarating.
  • 3. The MINT Part restaurant, part ultra-lounge, The Mint occupies a 7,000 square foot space that was previously a bank, giving inspiration to the name. In a nod to its past, The Mint’s centerpiece is the original vault door, while updated touches evoke a hollywood Regency design influence. With every detail carefully considered, the interior features rich materials including dark woods and cohiba marble to create booth seating, fireplaces, a luxurious 30 foot bar in the main room and a specialty champagne bar in the co-ed bathroom. The interior space is highlighted by a state-of-the-art retractable lighting system that shifts the mood from intimate to expansive as the night evolves from dining to nightlife. Audible pleasures progress throughout the evening with eclectic house and pop fostering energy as the day fades to night. If fresh air is your fancy, The Mint boasts the largest restaurant patio in Old Town Scottsdale; 4,500 square feet dedicated to al fresco drinking and dining, resort-style cabanas, in addition to traditional arrangements. Indoor and outdoor combined, The Mint’s three unique bar experiences will invite discovery and ignite excitement. The menu, crafted by executive Chef Johnny Chu, offers reasonably priced tastes of gourmet pan-Asian cuisine, artfully presented on small plates. The tapas menu highlights Chef Johnny Chu’s novel creativity with traditional Asian dishes through items such as; Loganberry Shrimp with a spicy peanut dipping sauce; Wasabi Sliders with charcoal grilled beef marinated in onions, peppers, curry seasoning and topped with pickled wasabi; Flash Fried Sugar Cane Pork with pineapple ginger sauce; and Japanese Green Tea Cheesecake. In addition to Asian delights, diners have perfect pairings available with an extensive wine and sake list. For the experience seeker, handcrafted cocktails are available infusing local ingredients such as the Queen Creek Olive Mill Dirty Martini.

PHOENIX ALE BREWERY The Phoenix Ale Brewery is proud to announce the opening of its new craft brewery located three miles east of downtown Phoenix at 3200 East Washington Street. The 15,700 square feet brewery, office and tasting room sits on 1.1 acres of land directly adjacent to the light rail system. The brewhouse, which was custom built by JV Northwest of Canby Oregon, is a 20 barrel, three vessel automated system engineered specifically for The Phoenix Ale Brewery’s beer styles. Fretzy’s partner in the brewery is craft beer pioneer George Hancock, who is credited with founding Pyramid Breweries, one of the largest craft brewers in the country. Noche de Gourmet benefits the Children In Need Foundation (CINF), a 501 (c) (3) non-profit which directs its efforts toward underprivileged youth in the Valley. Through this foundation, the Active 20-30 Club of Phoenix aids in eradicating the disadvantages that underprivileged children face.
