A 288-bed hospital was experiencing inefficient alarm management across 22 central stations on 7 floors. Nurses were receiving too many pages for low-level alarms and had to return to central stations to silence alarms. The solution created a centralized telemetry center with dedicated monitor technicians to manage alarms, customize settings, and notify nurses only of critical alarms. This allowed nurses to focus on patient care without unnecessary pages.
