This document discusses two laws of deductive reasoning: the Law of Detachment and the Law of Syllogism. The Law of Detachment states that if a conditional statement is true and the hypothesis is true, then the conclusion is also true. The Law of Syllogism states that if two conditional statements linking three terms are true, then the conditional statement linking the first and last terms is also true.
